After graduating from the University of Maine, Will Flender worked for the Massachusetts Forest and Park Service on Cape Cod. He moved to Vermont in 2001 to work for the Vermont Land Trust. Will’s time at the Vermont Land Trust together with his volunteer service as a member of various town and nonprofit boards gave Will first-hand experience working with municipal governments in Vermont, and a respect for their role in the community.
In 2004, Will enrolled in Vermont Law School, where he found time to continue his service to the community by volunteering as an intern with the Vermont League of Cities and Towns, the Vermont Legislative Council and the City of Burlington. Following his graduation, Will came to Stitzel, Page & Fletcher, P.C., where he will continue to provide service to the public as a lawyer representing Vermont municipalities.
“To me, change starts at the local level, through citizen involvement and community advocacy. I am delighted to be working with a firm that stands ready to assist communities as they act locally to make their community a better place to live and work.”
Will is a native of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
